Set up an Italian company

Simplified SRL with EUR 1 minimum capital and standardised atto costitutivo. Founders must all be natural persons (art. 2463-bis).

Italian joint stock company. EUR 50.000 minimum capital, board of directors, mandatory collegio sindacale in most cases (art. 2325 to 2451).

Limited partnership with at least one accomandatario (unlimited liability) and one accomandante (limited). No Notaio required (art. 2313 to 2324).

General partnership — all partners share unlimited joint liability. No Notaio required (art. 2291 to 2312).

Individual trader. Registered at the REA section of the Camera di Commercio. No separate legal personality.

Italian branch of a foreign company. Notary certified board resolution + Registro Imprese filing under art. 2508 of the Codice Civile.
